The Aranui Community Leadership Group (ACLG) is being established to ensure the community has an opportunity to participate in the process of developing an exciting vision for the Aranui Community Campus.The ACLG, made up of supporters and members of the local community, will lead the first phase of consultation from October to December 2013 and then provide advice to the Establishment Board of Trustees (EBoT) when it is formed in May 2014.The ACLG will work with the EBoT to ensure there is a strong community voice in the development of the campus organisation, and the facilities and services it will provide.Consultation is likely to cover the types of schooling that would best suit the community – for example, a Year 1-13 school or a junior/middle/senior model, special education, and inclusion of a bilingual unit or kura.More information about the role of the ACLG and application information is available below.
